Ten things...

YAY. Sug nominated me for this honesty list...thing. I loved reading everyone else's so here goes nothin'.

The object of this is to list 10 honest things about yourself, to invite eight other bloggers, and mention the blogger who selected you.

HONEST THINGS ABOUT ME

1. I'm a worrywart. I think it's all justified...but people tease me about it. Just because I want to know my friends got home safe doesn't mean I'm crazy, does it? Even if the drive is only ten minutes away? :p

2. I'm a germaphobe. I wash my hands a lot. On the up side, I don't seem to have the constant cold that my coworkers always have...so who's the silly one now? ;]

3. My boyfriend is the most important thing in my life. That's a given, of course, but why not state it again?

4. I love to craft...more than anything, but I worry that my quirky style turns people off more than if I did stuff by the book. Either way, I'm not changing!

5. I love to bake. If I could bake all day without stopping, I'd be happy. But for some reason, cooking bores me. I do it, I'm good at it...but there are only so many vegetables I can chop before I want to nap.

6. Speaking of napping, I love to sleep. Is that weird? I look forward to laying in my comfy bed every night. Probably because my mattress is older than I am, so it's perfectly soft.

7. I don't like driving on the freeway. I have a decent car, but the way it shakes when I'm going over 70? No thank you. (I still do it, but...not a fan. Plus, everyone else makes me nervous.)

8. I am a shoe-whore. I love shoes. Boots. Just typing that made me want some. I'm glad I'm good at managing my money!

9. I like doing sudoku. If it's in front of me, I WILL do it and I WILL finish. So don't bother me ;]

10. My dream is to have a cute little house with lots of trees around, and I want to DIY everything. From the pillows on the couch to the table in the kitchen. I love to build stuff, I love to craft...I want to do it all.

Thanks for reading all that randomness. Hehe. As far as people I tag...I tag you. Yes, you. Whoever is reading this.

Must. Update. Now.

I'm in desperate need of sleep. Seriously, the whole waking up at seven-ish did not fly with me this morning. I blame it on being under the weather. That, or I'm a wuss.
I really wanted to update quick before finally sleeping.
I've been working on wire wrapping. I think I've gotten pretty decent at it.
I've finished a few rings (some going to some awesome anonymous swap partners!) and I'm very proud of how they've turned out. But now I've developed an unhealthy desire to buy beads, beads, and more beads. My current favorite supply shop is The Beady Eye. They carry such a huge selection of jewelry supplies...all amazing quality. Definitely blowing my next paycheck on more supplies!
Anyway.

This is the latest ring I've created (using amazonite and freshwater pearls):

Blues Power (wire wrapped ring)

Click the link to visit my shop!
Many more rings and other various items will be added soon, I promise.
But in the meantime my contacts feel like they're going to fall out so I'll bid you all adieu!

Comments/critiques are definitely welcome. I have a lot to learn but I think I'm getting the hang of it!

Libbie Schille Photography

I'm backed up on featuring the shops of brilliant artists from which I've won giveaways...but I really, really wanted to get this one in!
The door bell rang today and when I went to answer it, sitting on the porch was a big bubble envelope mailer. I (carefully, but SO excitedly) tore it open and in it was a beautiful (seriously, so stunning) print that I won from Libbie Schille.
When I heard that I won, I looked over her shop again and got to pick out a beautiful print. I changed the one that I was originally going to choose after falling in love with this one. I'm going to give it to my boyfriend (Mark, if you're reading, stop here. ;]) for his birthday. It's even more gorgeous in person. All of her prints are beautiful and capture emotion, beauty, life...rather than just being random lifeless pictures...which are mostly what I take. Uh oh!

She also has a blog http://www.diaryofanairforcewife.com/ which I check daily. It will make you laugh, cry, think, and feel. (Mostly laugh. Her children are adorable!)
So check out her Etsy store, and check out her blog.
Oh, and go buy a fabulous print from her to display in your home, or give as a gift!
